We recognize that the weather is always "up in the air" and offer rescheduling for clients who Mother Nature was less fortunate towards. We attempt to provide the best experience for every client, but feel it important to remind anyone booking with us that fishing is seasonal and particular. Weather will affect the reaction of the fish as well as the time of the year will heavily dictate their participation. We do not offer discounts or refunds for charters that experience slower catch rates. Rescheduling is at the discretion of the Charter Captain and availability of the vessel. Feel free to contact us prior to booking to discuss peak periods for fishing activity.
What To Bring/Wear On A Charter
Come prepared for any weather! We can't choose the weather, but we can make the most out of what we're given, which is a lot easier when clients aren't chilled to the bone or melting in the sun. Be prepared by layering up or bringing an extra bag with rain gear or hoodies. Hats are essential for a day watching the sonar screens under the sun. We would appreciate it if you can bring clean footwear if you're planning on wearing shoes in the boat. We try our best to ensure the boat is always clean for the clients and clean footwear makes a huge difference.
WHAT WE EXPECT
In the nature of complete disclosure, we'd like to prepare our clients ahead of time with a copy of our Liability Waiver.
Before departing Cold Lake Marina for your charter adventure we collect signatures on the following waiver forms. We believe this form to be fair to both the client and our staff and hope that it doesn't discourage anyone from participating in a charter with us
